Automatic tabletop autoclaves

The T-Top 10 and T-Top 11 are sold as Class S (gravity) or Class B (pre/post vacuum) units. The Class B software upgrade adds pre/post vacuum cycles to a Class S unit later. The T-Edge 11 and T-Edge 11 TVET have been replaced by the T-Top 11; parts, supplies and the Class B upgrade remain available for existing T-Edge owners. Manual and large-capacity autoclaves

Manual models include the 2340M, 2540M, 2540MK Kwiklave, Valueklave 1730, T-Classic 9 and the TVET 9M and TVET 10M veterinary units. For higher volume, the 15" x 30" 3870 series includes the 3870M, 3870EAP with printer and the 3870HSG-WS pre/post vacuum freestanding model.

Laboratory and low-temperature sterilizers

LabSci benchtop autoclaves come in 11L, 15L and 15+L sizes. The LabSci 85LV and 60LV are top-loading vertical models with baskets, pails and trays. For heat- and moisture-sensitive instruments, the PlazMax low-temperature hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilizer uses PlazMax H2O2 sterilant, indicators and PCD lumen kits.

Washer-disinfectors and ultrasonic cleaners

Tiva thermal washer-disinfectors include the countertop Tiva2, under-counter Tiva2 H, the Tiva8-MD package and the Tiva8-L glassware washer. Clean & Simple ultrasonic cleaners come in 1, 3 and 6.5 gallon sizes, such as the 3 gallon CSU3, with baskets and cleaning tablets.

Water, monitoring and supplies

Feed your autoclave with the DS1000 or DS1G steam distiller or an Ameriwater RO system. Tuttnauer tabletop autoclaves need distilled or deionized water with a conductivity of 15 µS/cm or less. Verify cycles with rapid biological indicators, the Bionova incubator and Type 5 chemical integrators. Keep chambers clean with T-System Clean tablets and Chamber Brite, and stock pouch racks, printers, paper and labels.

What is the difference between Class S and Class B Tuttnauer autoclaves?
Class S units use gravity cycles. Class B adds pre- and post-vacuum cycles for hollow and porous loads, plus Bowie & Dick and vacuum tests. T-Top units are sold in either class, and a Class S unit can be upgraded with the Class B software upgrade.

What replaced the T-Edge 11?
The T-Top 11 (11" x 18", 27 liter chamber, Class S or Class B) replaced the T-Edge 11. T-Edge parts, supplies and the Class B software upgrade remain available for existing owners.

What power does a T-Top need?
The 120V T-Top 10 and T-Top 11 draw 12.5A, and Tuttnauer recommends a 15A circuit breaker.

Which Tuttnauer autoclave is best for high volume?
The 3870 series has a 15 x 30 inch chamber in manual (3870M), automatic (3870EAP) and pre/post vacuum (3870HSG-WS) versions.
