Class S vs. Class B
Class S (Gravity) runs programs for unwrapped instruments, wrapped pouches, delicate instruments and handpieces, and can be upgraded to Class B later. Class B (Pre/Post Vacuum) adds vacuum air removal and post-vacuum drying for the same load types, plus Bowie & Dick and vacuum test cycles. It is the choice for practices that sterilize wrapped, porous or hollow loads.
