Overview
The Welch Allyn Connex Spot Monitor (74RT-B) is a compact spot-check vital signs monitor for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients. This configuration measures blood pressure (SureBP), SpO2 (Masimo with RRp) and temperature (SureTemp Plus). This configuration ships without Wi-Fi active and can be upgraded to Wi-Fi connectivity later.
Key Features
- SureBP non-invasive blood pressure: a typical reading takes about 20 seconds (150 seconds max), keeping spot checks quick.
- Masimo pulse oximetry, 1–100% range, accuracy ±2 digits plus acoustic respiration rate (RRp), adding a respiratory measurement to the same spot check.
- SureTemp Plus thermometry for oral (about 4–6 s), rectal (about 10 s) or axillary (about 10–15 s) readings.
- Color touchscreen in a 2.9 lb (1.3 kg) housing that moves easily between rooms or mounts on a stand or wall.
- Integrated lithium-ion battery runs up to 12 hours and recharges in 4 hours, so the monitor can work away from an outlet.
