Description
The Bovie DERM 942 is a 40-watt monopolar/bipolar high-frequency desiccator built for years of trouble-free office use. Newer chip technology and fewer internal parts mean less internal heat, and the non-absorbing, non-staining high-impact case is easy to clean. It ships ready to use with the 3-button handpiece and an assortment of dermal tips.

- 40 W of power for spray coagulation (fulguration) and standard bipolar
- Higher resolution in bipolar mode: 1/10-watt increments from 0 to 10 W
- Same A902 3-button handpiece works with or without the optional A803 Footswitch, no separate foot-control handpiece needed
- Adjust power up/down and activate from the handpiece, even in foot-control mode
- Digital Error Detection continuously monitors the output and disables it with an error code at any sign of a problem
- Handpiece accepts most standard 3/32 in. electrodes
- Blue active light and audible tone on activation

Typical use
Dermatology, MOHS, plastics, primary and urgent care: desiccation and fulguration of skin tags, warts and benign lesions. Bovie recommends the Smoke Shark III (SE03) for shorter office procedures with the A942, with a SharkSkin pencil adapter (SS95) on the handpiece.
