Overview
The ZOLL Powerheart G5 Fully Automatic AED (G5A-80C-S) is an automated external defibrillator for public access, workplace and school use. Its RescueCoach voice and text prompts go at the rescuer's pace and guide each step of a rescue. When a shock is needed, the AED delivers it without the rescuer pressing a button.
Key Features
- Intellisense CPR feedback monitors compression rate and depth and gives corrective prompts. The included ICPR adult pads provide the feedback; replacement pads are XELAED002.
- Dual-language operation: one button switches prompts to the second language during a rescue.
- Automatic self-tests check the battery, pads and internal circuitry, and the Rescue Ready indicator shows whether the AED is ready.
- Pediatric use: with Intellisense pediatric pads (XELAED003, sold separately), energy is reduced for patients 8 years or younger or under 55 lb (25 kg). Pediatric pads are not to be pre-connected.
- Stores 90 minutes of rescue data, which can be retrieved by USB.
