The Detecto 485 Series is a stationary mechanical wheelchair scale with an eye-level physician-style weighbeam and detachable floor-level ramp. Built from heavy-duty steel and requiring no power, it is a dependable, low-maintenance wheelchair beam scale for clinics, physician offices, dialysis centers and long-term care facilities.
Patients roll directly onto the platform, where wheelchair wheel trays help position the chair, and staff read the weight at eye level without bending. Because the beam is readable from both sides, the scale can be placed wherever it best fits the room's traffic flow.
