Description
Overview
The ConMed 7-900-4 foot switch activates the Hyfrecator® 2000 office electrosurgical unit hands-free. It is needed when a non-switching (foot control) pencil or bipolar forceps is used, or when the clinician wants very precise activation.
Key Features
- Foot activation keeps the hand free of buttons, so the pencil or forceps can be held steady during fine work.
- Plugs into the switching connector at the base of the Hyfrecator® 2000, the same connector used by the switching hand pencil.
- Required for Hyfrecator® bipolar forceps, making bipolar procedures possible on the unit.
- 10 ft (3.0 m) cord gives room to place the switch where the operator stands.
