Which to choose

  • Smoke Shark III for dermatology and other short in-office procedures with a single pencil. It is the smallest and lowest-cost unit, but its single 3/8" port and 6-hour filter do not suit 7/8" wands, speculums or laparoscopic tubing.
  • Smoke Shark II for rooms that need 7/8" open-field capture plus reducers, using Bovie consumables.
  • ConMed ViroVac for the same three-port capability on ConMed / Buffalo Filter consumables, such as VT10524 tubing and PlumePen pencils.

For LEEP or laparoscopic use, tell us the procedure and generator on your quote request and we'll confirm compatible tubing before you order. See also smoke evacuation laws by state.
