Buying guide, comparison and FAQ
How to choose a treatment table
- Electric or fixed height: Chattanooga Galaxy tables raise and lower from 21 to 40 in and the Montane Andes from 19 to 40 in with a 360-degree foot switch. Hausted 4100/4105 (32 in), Brewer Element (31 in) and Ritter 203 (31 in) are fixed height.
- Sections and positioning: more sections mean more positions. The Galaxy 3-Section has gas-spring head (+40 to -70 degrees) and leg (0 to 90 degrees) sections; the Galaxy 5-Section adds fold-down armrests; the Montane Andes 7-Section adds fold-down head and chest segments, and its wide Postural Flex model has a motorized middle section.
- Width and capacity: Galaxy and Montane Andes tables lift 440 lb in the 25 in standard width and 500 lb in the 30 in wide width. Hausted and Brewer Element tables are rated 500 lb; the Ritter 203 is rated 400 lb.
- Adjustable back: for patients who need to sit up, the Hausted 4105 backrest has 6 positions plus horizontal, and Brewer Element adjustable-back models have 6 back positions.
- Storage and paper: Hausted 4103-DD and 4105-DD add a shelf and two drawers; Brewer Element comes with a basic frame, a shelf, or a shelf and drawers. Hausted holders take 18, 19 or 20 in paper; the Ritter 203 takes 21 in rolls.
- Upholstery and delivery: most tables are offered in several upholstery colors. Tables ship by freight; the Brewer Element's two-piece top ships in compact cartons.

FAQ
Should we choose an electric hi-lo table or a fixed-height table?
Electric hi-lo tables lower for safe patient transfers and raise to a comfortable working height for manual therapy. Fixed-height tables cost less and suit exam, treatment and procedure rooms where one height works for every patient.
Which treatment tables have storage?
The Hausted 4103-DD and 4105-DD have a shelf and two drawers, and Brewer Element models 2110-2140 add a shelf and 2210-2240 add a shelf and drawers.
Can I order a treatment table for spinal traction?
For traction, choose a dedicated traction table such as the Galaxy TTET300/TTET400 or Triton DTS 6E/6M in our spinal traction collection.
Can we buy with Vizient or Provista contract pricing?
Yes. Vizient and Provista members can request contract pricing; request a quote or call (800) 575-2375.
