The Detecto IB800 in-bed scale lets nursing staff weigh bedridden patients without transferring them to a chair or stretcher scale. A flame-retardant, antibacterial 6 ft stretcher is placed under the patient and hydraulically lifted inches above the bed for weighing, making the IB800 a practical patient weighing solution for hospitals, ICUs and long-term care facilities.

The ZERO key subtracts the weight of bedding for accurate patient readings, and the scale is EMR/EHR ready via its RS232 serial port. It is designed for weighing only and is not intended for patient transport.
